Daniel 9:24 - Seventy Times Seven Years (490 years) for Israel’s Final Restoration
From Chapter 9:24 of the prophecy of Daniel (דָנִיאֶל), brother Gideon Levytam points to Gabriel's instruction to Daniel, concerning the timing of Israel’s final restoration to God. God decreed, that seventy times seven of years, שָׁבֻעִים שִׁבְעִים (490 years), will pass before Daniel’s city, Jerusalem, and Daniel’s people, Israel, will be restored and the Messianic Kingdom will be established. The seventy times seven of years, will bring about the following six-fold spiritual and everlasting blessing for Daniel’s people of Israel, and ultimately for the whole world. 1) to finish the transgression, 2) to make an end of sins, 3) to make reconciliation for iniquity, 4) to bring in everlasting righteousness, 5) to seal up the vision and prophecy, and 6) to anoint the most Holy.
Ecclesiastes 1:2-8 - All is Vanity. What Profits Man in All His Labour Under the Sun?
From the study on the Book of Ecclesiastes, (Kohelet - קֹהֶלֶת). Brother Gideon Levytam sets before us the opening question which king Solomon (שְׁלֹמֹֽה) asks in this divinely inspired book. Solomon failed to listen to his father, king David’s advice, and his warning not to turn away from his loving God. Solomon is now challenging Israel, and all people, with this important question, "What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun"? Solomon points to the reality that without God, all is vanity and empty. People are born and people die, generations come and generations go, the sun rises and sets, the wind goes around in circuits, and life continues, filled with labour and dissatisfaction. In the book of Ecclesiastes, Solomon addresses the dissatisfaction that people experience in their lives, when God is not the centre of their lives.

Burdened for the restoration of his people to the city of Jerusalem, Daniel cries to God saying, "O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do". In His grace, God sends his messenger, the angel Gabriel, who touches Daniel and informs him as to the purpose of his coming. Gabriel was sent to give Daniel the needed skill from God, in order to understand God’s full program for the final restoration of His people Israel.

Ecclesiastes 1:1 - Introduction to the Book of Ecclesiastes (קֹהֶלֶת)
From the study on the Book of Ecclesiastes, Kohelet in Hebrew, (קֹהֶלֶת). Brother Gideon Levytam gives us an introduction to one of the most interesting portions in the Word of God. This unique book begin with these words. "The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem”. Ecclesiastes 1:1. In his older years, Kohelet, that is king Solomon, spoke to the assembled people of Israel, reminding them to remember their Creator God in the days of their youth and at all times. Ecclesiastes is a compilation of king Solomon’s convicting messages to his people, desiring to keep them from forgetting their God, and making the same mistakes that he himself had made earlier in his own life.

Prophecies of the Messiah - The Rock of Israel (צוּר יִשְׂרָאֵל)
Looking at Exodus 17, Numbers 20 and II Samuel, Gideon Levytam points to the eleventh prophecy in the Hebrew Scriptures concerning the promise of the coming Messiah. The children of Israel were led by God as they travelled to the promised land of Canaan, yet, because of the difficult journey and their dissatisfied hearts, they contended against God and His servant Moses. In Exodus 17:2a, the people contended with Moses to give them water, Moses replied, why do you contend with me, why do you tempt the LORD? Exodus 17:2b. The LORD met the needs of His people, and quenched their thirst by smiting the Rock, and providing them with water. David called that smitten Rock, the God of Jacob, the Rock of Israel (צוּר יִשְׂרָאֵל). That Rock is Israel's promised Messiah, Yeshua / Jesus who was smitten for the sin of the World. Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 10:4, "And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ."
