Esther 9:1-19 - Plans for the Destruction of the Jews Turned to Naught
From Chapter 9:1-19 of the study of the Book of Esther (אֶסְתֵּר), brother Gideon Levytam points out the providence of God. The Lord purposed that through the Jewish people He would bring the promised Redeemer / Messiah into the world, and therefore, He would not allow their enemies to destroy them. While the Jews' enemies hoped to destroy them on the 13th day of Adar, things turned to the contrary, as the Jews stood together to stop their enemies from fulfilling Haman’s plan. The rulers of the provinces helped the Jews against their enemies, who eventually were defeated and Haman's ten sons were hanged upon the gallows as king Ahasuerus had commanded. Mordecai was promoted in the king's house, and his fame went out throughout all the provinces. As for the Jews, the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth days of Adar, became days of rest, feasting and gladness.

Hebrews 7:1-3 - Freedom From the Law's Condemnation Through Faith in Jesus the Messiah
From Chapter 7:1-3 on the study of the Book of Hebrews (אֶל־הָעִבְרִים), brother Gideon Levytam points us to the instructions given to the Hebrew believers concerning their responsibility towards the Law. God gave His Holy Law to His people Israel, so that they would live their lives in a godly way. But, because Israel, as all mankind are sinful by nature, no one could fully submit to the demands of God's Holy Law. Therefore, God commanded Israel to offer blood sacrifices, in order to atone temporarily for their sins, until the Messiah would come. Once Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah came, and fulfilled God's Holy Law in His life, death, and resurrection, He freed all who trusted in Him. Therefore, believers in Jesus the Messiah are now free from the Law and from the guilt and condemnation which would befall upon those who violated God's Holy Law.
Romans 1:15-17 - I Am Not Ashamed of the Gospel of Messiah
From Chapter 1:15-17 of the study of the Book of Romans (אֶל־הָרוֹמִיִּים), brother Gideon Levytam explains the heart of Paul towards the believers in Rome. Shaul / Paul not only assures the Romans that he longs to come to them, but that he is ready to come as soon as God opens the door. Paul emphasizes the truth that he was not ashamed of the gospel of the Messiah, because the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah, is the only grounds for salvation. The righteousness of God was satisfied when the Seed of the woman, Jesus the promised Messiah, entered into this world just as it was foretold by the Hebrew prophets. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6. The Messiah Jesus, was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Romans 4:25.

Esther 8:1-17 - The Jews Had Joy and Gladness
From Chapter 8:1-17 of the study of the Book of Esther (אֶסְתֵּר), brother Gideon Levytam relates how the sovereign God of Israel protected His people from their enemies. God would not allow Haman the Agagite to destroy His people, for in God's plan, the Messiah must come to the world through the Jewish people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11. While Haman himself was hung on the gallows, his evil plan to destroy all the Jews in one day still remained. Esther pleaded with King Ahasuerus to protect her people from destruction, and God in His providence caused king Ahasuerus to have letters sent to all the one hundred and twenty seven provinces in Persia, allowing the Jews to protect themselves from anyone seeking to harm them. Miraculously, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month Adar, no-one was able to harm the Jews, who had light, gladness, joy, and honour in their dwellings.

Hebrews 6:9-20 - Jesus, Our High Priest, Has Already Entered Heaven
From Chapter 6:9-20 on the study of the Book of Hebrews (אֶל־הָעִבְרִים), brother Gideon Levytam relays the encouragement that the Hebrew author gives to his brethren. The Hebrews, as are all believers in Jesus the Messiah, are called to live their lives by doing things that accompany their salvation. God who is righteous, will not forget any good work, or any labour of love, done by His people. God made a promise to our father Abraham, swearing by Himself and saying, surely in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thee. Therefore, every believer who flees for refuge to Yeshua the Messiah, is called to lay hold of the hope that is set before him, because this hope is sure and is an anchor for the soul. Yeshua /Jesus our forerunner, has already entered into heaven, becoming our high priest for ever, after the order of Melchizedek.
