Paul likens the earthly body to a dead seed that will be planted and raised up as a flourishing plant. Just like seeds, our earthly bodies will grow into fruitfulness. Do you ever feel bad about your body? Take heart—you’re going to get a new one. Every child of God is promised a place in His kingdom, and with that place, a new spiritual body. First Corinthians 15:44 describes our bodies as “sown a natural body, raised a spiritual body.” Health and wholeness will be an everyday thing in God’s kingdom.
